Looking for a fun way for your children to learn Japanese this spring? Our Japanese Kids Club has a variety of activities lined up, from origami to games, and we can’t wait to get started!
What is Japanese Kids Club?
Do you want your young children to learn a foreign language with a native teacher? If so, you’re in the right place! Each session begins right after school at Lakeland Elementary School. Students will practice writing their names in Japanese, and with their young minds, they quickly pick up numbers and colors in Japanese.
We’ll also have fun using chopsticks while enjoying Japanese snacks. Every week, we’ll create origami animals together. And we’ll play the Japanese version of Duck, Duck, Goose—speaking Japanese as we play! (It’s one of the best ways to learn a language!)
Spring Sessions at Japanese Kids Club
- Tuesday Course (8 sessions): April 7 through May 26, 4:00–5:00 PM
- Friday Course (7 sessions): April 10 through May 29, 4:00–5:00 PM
Each session takes place right after school at Lakeland Elementary School.
Participation Fee
- Tuesday Course: $90
- Friday Course: $80
The fee covers all activities, materials, and snacks for each session.

Instructor’s Bio
Misaeng Suh, founder of IROIRO CREATIONS, has been teaching cooking, Japanese language, and art classes since 2005. Born and raised in Japan, Misaeng has a passion for learning new things and inspiring others to do the same.
