Konnichiwa! こんにちは！ I am happy to announce the schedule for our upcoming “Beginning Japanese Course 1” starting on Tuesday, February 2nd.

Beginning Japanese Course 1
Schedule 8 Mondays from 6:00 to 8:00pm (EST) (February 2nd to March 23rd, 2026) All classes will be recorded and the recording will be shared on Google Classroom.
Things we will cover Hiragana writing and reading Basic conversation Useful vocabulary Grammar Japanese cultures (including Anime!)
The Instructor Misen, a native of Japan, has taught Japanese language for over 20 years in Northern Michigan. She really enjoys helping people who are interested in learning Japanese language and culture.
Requirement Access to Zoom
What’s included 8, 2-hour online sessions Course handouts Review materials Access to Google classroom where you can ask questions to the instructor for 8 weeks.
Each class will be recorded and provided to students for their review.
