At Japanese Kids Club, students enjoy a variety of fun activities while learning about the Japanese language and culture. Here are some of the things we do together.
Write Your Name in Japanese
Each week, students practice writing their names in Japanese. Once they feel confident, they also try writing the names of their family members.

Counting Numbers in Japanese
Students practice counting numbers together and learn how to say them in Japanese.
Learning Japanese Characters
Students are introduced to basic Japanese characters and practice reading and writing them.
Eating Snacks with Chopsticks
Students enjoy a small snack while practicing how to use chopsticks. It’s always a fun challenge!

Trying Kendama
Students try playing kendama, a traditional Japanese toy that helps develop balance, coordination, and focus.

Japanese Calligraphy
Students experience Japanese calligraphy and practice writing simple characters with a brush.

Origami
Students learn how to fold colorful paper to create traditional origami shapes, such as animals and flowers.
