Japanese Kids Club is a fun and welcoming program where children can explore Japanese language and culture through hands-on activities, games, crafts, food, music, and seasonal traditions.
The goal is not simply to “study Japanese,” but to help children enjoy using Japanese naturally while discovering more about everyday life and culture in Japan.
What We Do
Activities may include:
- Simple Japanese words and phrases
- Japanese songs and games
- Hiragana and katakana activities
- Japanese crafts
- Seasonal traditions and celebrations
- Japanese food and snacks
- Cultural activities
- Pokémon-inspired language games and other kid-friendly themes
Activities vary from session to session so that children can experience Japanese language and culture in many different ways.
Learning Through Play
Children learn best when they are engaged and having fun.
Japanese Kids Club includes interactive activities that encourage children to listen, speak, move, create, and play while becoming more familiar with Japanese.
No previous Japanese experience is necessary.
Who Is It For?
Japanese Kids Club is designed for children who are curious about Japan, whether they are completely new to Japanese or already have some experience with the language and culture.
Activities are adjusted whenever possible to accommodate different ages and levels.
A Place to Experience Japanese Culture
Language is only one part of Japanese Kids Club.
Children also have opportunities to experience Japanese traditions, food, holidays, games, crafts, and everyday culture in a relaxed and friendly environment.
